The applications are screened for reasons below. This game is small enough I don't foresee application overlap.

Apps close on September 9th!
But second round apps are open until October 1st. You can change your secondary app until then.
You do not need to be a player in round 1 to app into round 2.

A and B will be notified of their status on the Thursday the 10th!

The game begins Friday, September 11th!

Applications will be unscreened after the game has ended.

Morality and motivations will help shape the notification of the situation the characters will get. However, the person writing the game schema (that's a me; you can get a hold of me at [personal profile] yunon .) will not be the RNG mod, so I cannot guarantee that the motivation will suit your specific character perfectly. Thus, if there are characters that you might not be able to play as "A" if they know they're killing RCs, no matter what reward (including the ability to bring them back), I need to be aware of this. I can set it up so "A" is only "vanishing" them from the setting if needed---or they think they are, anyway.

I'm asking the canon point because your character may go back to their world for a time. If there are dead characters who wouldn't be able to interact during those periods, I'll be sure not to make such a setting.

The strengths, weaknesses, quirks and so forth are so that the RNG mod (who is not a player) can pick a good "tell" from the list or veto a particularly unfitting one for our cast.

For more information about how the game works in terms of mod and RNG shuffling, see this post. Suggest a Tell while you're there!

Also check out the rules.

If you're new to Dreamwidth based RP or want to know how to do various things on the site, see this post.

The technical side of how this all works. )

Tells

This is where you come in!

The RNG mod's other duty will be to use RNG to select a tell. Everybody can submit as many tells as they like, though please include each tell in a separate post for numbering purposes. The RNG Mod will read through all applications and the setting description and be aware of the types of characters in the game and make sure the tell selected fits the type of game being run.

This means that the General Mod, also playing characters in the game, will not know what the Tell is.  Honor system on using it, Character A!

All eliminations/deaths will need to take place between Friday night and Saturday morning as that's when the RNG mod will check in. If during another session the RNG mod is more regularly present, this will be changed. You're free to leave tells with instant deaths if your tell is a method of killing rather than something which must always be done or cannot be done, but the RNG Mod might reshuffle if it doesn't suit their schedule.

Unless otherwise specified in your Tell, whether a body is left or not and its condition will be generic to the game as announced in the finalizing post. If yours is too light or dark for the cast we have, it might also get shuffled out if landed on.

Example of a tell: Whenever Character A is typing or communicating anything through writing, they will always transpose the letters ie. So for example, they would have to write 'I gave them thier just desserts' or 'That's not very sceintific.'

Remember that tells must be things characters can notice; players noticing something their characters can't is no good. So a tell could not require players to have such typos in character speech.

But if the setting doesn't have much writing or text communication, that'd be a poor tell, wouldn't it? So if the RNG picked it, the RNG Mod would have the liberty to pick again.

An example for a setting without text would be: Character A must make direct physical contact for a period of 30 seconds or more with the person they are going to eliminate within 72 hours of their elimination.

This is a Tell that requires a certain action to be performed to do the kill. The ie tell is a tell that permanently limits or forces the character's actions. Both, or any other creative tells are allowed!

So everyone, submit those Tells! All unused Tells will remain screened at the end of the game for use in the next ones.

I'm not going to enforce it, but I encourage you to keep them a secret and not talk about your suggested tells OOCly!
