Fly away home

[A lazily, cumbersome flying shadow is visible out over the water to anyone at a window or out on the waterline, heading towards the shoreline to eventually alight there. The fanged creature doesn't look remotely capable of flight by any mundane understanding of physics, but, wings unfurled, it still manages to bob buoyantly through the air until it settles weightlessly on the ground.]

[Atsushi rubs his eyes once again from his position behind a rock half his size. As the shadow of the house falls on him, he seems to offer the appearance of another, less good-looking rock that is nestled behind the one in front. He had rushed outside at once after, when on the way out of the kitchen, he had seen the black figure fly by. He had been half-expecting the figure to be gone by then, as most of his hallucinations did, but there it was, a few feet away. Once Atsushi finishes rubbing his eyes, he does it again.]
