Light - Morning rounds

i. 6:00 A.M.; Master Bedroom - Bath

[At 6:00, he wakes from his bed in the master bedroom. Without wasting much time, he grabs the clothes he had washed and dried the previous night before heading into the master bath.

After a very quick shower, he focuses more time on dental and hair care after dressing. All in all, it's a rather speedy process.]

ii. 6:25; Laundry Room - Kitchen

[After crossing the house, Light heads into the laundry room to start the process of washing his night clothes. Once the washing has started - he adds his bathing laundry in as well - he heads into the kitchen to get something quick to eat.]

iii. 7:00; Great Room

[Since the Master Bedroom is somehow missing a computer, Light heads into the Great Room to check the network. Here, he can watch as people come and go, a preliminary check to see if anyone is in the house. While he does plan on doing a check once the house grows later, this will serve the purpose for now. He'll be here for some time.]

[She stops moving away when he moves closer. Her head tilts slightly and then,] I wasn't. [Then she sniffs again.] Haven't been here before, growl.

[His head tilts at the odd ending, but he doesn't address it yet.]

Do you know where you came from?

The school. [She thinks for a moment.] Or are you asking about that room?

[andeatit]

[Then, she doesn't actually remember anything in between.]

That answers my question for now...thanks. But more importantly, do you know where you are, or why you're here?

[lycoctonum]

Not really. Like I said, I haven't been here before.

[andeatit]

Would you mind sitting down? You need to know more. I don't know how much it will protect you, but knowledge helps.

[She pauses for a moment before going to sit down.] I'm listening.

[andeatit]

First, do you mind telling me your name? I'm Light.

[lycoctonum]

I'm Ginko.

[andeatit]

Ginko. [He nods in greeting.]

Myself and four others woke up here a week ago, much as I assume you did too. Did you also have a note? Ours explained a bit of what was happening.

[lycoctonum]

I did, growl. [Her hand goes to her pocket before moving away.] Something about a murderer.

[andeatit]

Do you mind if I see it? I have a copy of my original note; we should compare the two, and I'll help fill you in on what the note doesn't say.

[lycoctonum]

[She shook her head.] I want to see the layout a little before that.

[andeatit]

It might not be safe to go alone. I'm not sure if the note told you, but there does seem to be a murderer in the house. I would have said they all seemed innocent enough, but the truth that one of us is missing seems to be standing.

[lycoctonum]

It did but I'm not afraid of that.

[andeatit]

[That earns a frown.]

You're not afraid of dying? It's not an idle threat.

[lycoctonum]

I'm not defenseless. [She actually smiles at that.]

[andeatit]

What do you mean? Did you come armed?

[lycoctonum]

I'm just tougher than I look.

[andeatit]

Strength might not help you very much. The killer probably doesn't use brute force.

[lycoctonum]

I won't back down, either way.

[andeatit]

Nonetheless, it bothers me to think of you going alone. Would you accept my company?

[lycoctonum]

[She doesn't answer right away and then,] Sure, growl. It might go faster.

[andeatit]

[Nodding, he indicates the doors.]

In theory, the others should still be in the bedrooms.

[lycoctonum]

"In theory"? Is there another hallway?

[andeatit]

There are windows, but I don't think anyone would have a reason to sneak out. Still, you didn't come from a bedroom, did you?

[lycoctonum]

I came out of that room. [She points towards the dining room.]

[andeatit]

So, the others might also be in rooms other than the bedrooms, but we can start there, if you want.

[lycoctonum]

Then let's go.

[Time to switch to that other log?]

[Motioning, he would indicate he would follow where she wants.]

[ooc: sounds good! If you don't want to be the one to jump in, then just have her lead them there. If you don't mind, she can lead them there and jump in first.]
