10 PM Meeting - Laundry Room

[As your character may know if they'd been watching the network thread, Mikami and Light have plans to meet at 10PM in the laundry room. Mikami will end up being about 10 minutes late.]

For somebody who's been investigating Kira, it would be unureasonable to be caught up in a mysterious crime and to still have such an oversight. It really makes me wonder...

Unlike you, I haven't been trying to steal everyone's note. If Kira's brought us here, he knows my name. If he's one of us, getting rid of these notes should protect us.

No, it's derived from the English word 'killer'. But we're drifting too far off topic. That's something we can discuss at another time. For now, we need to destroy the paper and look at the letters.

If I've previously suspected you of being a killer, I can't agree to your plan to have us destroy the papers. But I have another idea. There should be ink in the office. We can use that to assure that if somebody uses their paper to kill, it will be traceable.

Before coming here, I was a fellow detective in your investigation. I'm not happy with being able to solve a crime we can stop before it happens.

The potential to be caught should stop them. The killer must also have circumstances. Probably, laid out in a separate communication. One that is five paragraphs long. Otherwise, we could all be killed at once as soon as our names are known with this paper.

No one knows your name. I can't assure anyone else has given their real name. With copies of the note, there's no reason to let everyone to hold onto a potentially murderous weapon.

I will agree if another communication from our captors is presented. If that happens, there will be no further argument. Shall we do as much first, then? If one isn't presented, we can discuss this further.

If someone's given the privacy to get any other note--which may not even exist--then they'll have the opportunity to replicate their note and only destroy that fake one.

Down to the type of paper, without taking enough time to be noticed?

There are notebooks in the office. Likely with the same ruling. It'd be simple enough to print it out, if you can align the copied lines with the notebook's lines.

Destroying as many of these sheets of paper as possible is the safest option. Keeping them won't take away a possible second sheet, but it will remove the first.
